Maureen is an ordained Roman Catholic Womanpriest (RCWP). She received her M.Div. from the Jesuit School of Theology at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. In addition, she holds a teaching credential in English and is working on her doctorate in theology. 

Maureen’s area of interest is the emergent field of eco-theology. Maureen has been a high school theology teacher, campus minister, hospital chaplain, Director of RCIA, and liturgist giving workshops on both the diocesan and national level.

 As a Christian feminist Maureen actively supports equality for women in the Roman Catholic Church and views her ordination as part of the renewal movement in the Catholic Church. She is a member of CTA, WOC, and locally, the Women of Magdala.  Maureen’s priestly vocation, calls her to serve the people of God, through both Social and Earth Justice, as a Spiritual Director, Retreat Director, and priest.  Previously Maureen served as priest for Namaste Catholic Community in Orinda and is presently pastor at St. Hildegard Catholic Community in Berkeley, CA.

logist. She has worked as a campus minister, high school religious studies teacher, liturgist, liturgical musician and spiritual director. Chris provides leadership for a house church in Santa Cruz, CA and participates in social justice and homeless ministry through a local parish. She continues to weave together the common threads of psychology, theology and spirituality in all aspects of her work. Chris and her life partner Helen Mayer, were married in 2007 and make their home in Aptos CA.

Christine Haider-Winnett holds a Masters in Divinity from Pacific School of Religion, a BA in Peace and Global Studies from Earlham College and a Certificate in Women’s Studies in Religion from the Graduate Theological Union.

She is a former Co-President of the

Women’s Ordination Conference and has spent most of her professional career in faith-based nonprofits where she helped people of faith organize on issues such as LGBTQ equality, Latin American solidarity and peace in the Middle East. In addition to serving as a deacon at St. Hildy's, she also serves as a chaplaincy resident at a nearby hospital. Christine lives in Berkeley with her spouse Alex, who is preparing for ordained ministry in the Unitarian Universalist Association, and two cats.
